Helen Lyon / Director
I was born and bred in Newcastle upon Tyne, and moved to London to study Graphic Communication Design at Middlesex University. I worked at MET Studio for 8 years, finally running the graphics department. I left to teach at Kent Institute of Art and Design and then went back to teach the final year students on the same degree course I had studied on.
I opened studio HB’s doors in 2003 and it is now home. I am passionate about architecture and ink and how environmental graphic design make the two work together.
