studio HB has a long standing creative relationship with the Charles Dickens Museum, here is a selection of images from the following exhibitions:
FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD Food was important to Dickens, not just as sustenance but also for its moral and emotional meaning. studio HB were asked to create the graphics for a family friendly exhibition invites visitors to experience the house as either a servant or a guest, with puzzles, smell jars and soundscapes to engage all the senses.
CHARLES DICKENS-MAN OF SCIENCE This exhibition aims to reveal Dickens not only as a scientific enthusiast, but as the key communicator of science in the Victorian age. We are displaying his writings alongside artefacts, instruments, and texts of the developing sciences.
RESTLESS SHADOW-DICKENS THE CAMPAIGNER The exhibition Restless Shadow explores a largely unknown and under rated body of Dickens’s work that speaks plainly to social justice with energy and relevance—both then and now.
