MAKING CONNECTIONS: STONEHENGE IN ITS PREHISTORIC WORLD
Stonehenge Visitor Centre
Making Connections is an exhibition that demonstrates the shifting relationships between the British Isles and Continental Europe during the neolithic and bronze ages. Each object represents early connections and shared ideas, beliefs and communication. The exhibition opens with an exquisite jade axe, on loan from the British Museum.
With Leigh Cain Creative working on the 3D and object mounts we devised an undulating nine meter illustration that forms the back drop to the showcases. Objects sit on angled panels that form a terrain of where they were discovered. Postcard maps and monotoned images give a focussed narrative as the objects travel over continents through time.
